The strength drills are sessions the goalkeeping coaches use along the week, but only a few know HOW to work them properly. In my opinion, if we can’t count on the help of a pro in order to determine weight, repetitions, series, which exercises are best or which ones are needed by our goalkeepers… the smart thing to do is to follow the rule “less is more”.
Without establishing a number of series or repetitions, now we show you 4 drills you can use in one of your sessions or put them all together and create your own session. There are two main targets in every of them:
- Jump Strength
- Acceleration-slow down Strength (Movement)
